We were provided with a tight time frame as the old plant needed to operate during summer and the new plant needed to be up and running for the biggest day in SAJC’S recent history - 9 May 2012; the Goodwood Handicap starring the champion Black Caviar.
Scope of Work:
Replace South Australian Jockey Club old central plant equipment with new high efficiency Chillers, Pumps, Boilers & Cooling Towers.
Project Successes:
- Transition between decommissioning the old plant and commissioning the new plant was critical.
- The new plant was commissioned late April 2012.
- 30,000 people attended Morphettville Goodwood Handicap day on 9 May 2012 and the air conditioning successfully catered to the attendees.
