Some kind words received from a young Engineer, Tinotenda, who spent time working at O'Connors to gain some work experience:
"I never got the chance to properly thank you and the rest of the team at O'Connors for having me for work experience.
I really appreciate the opportunity and i'm immensely great full for the experience because in those 7 months I learned so much and gained even more insight into the industry than I ever had to the three years prior. Things like the roles and responsibilities, industry expectations, working as a professional and even learning about the services side of engineering as I had only ever focused on the technical side engineering with the intention of being a design engineer. I short what I want to say that my time there made me understand what it really meant to be an engineer and this has helped also take a stand on what I want out a career within the industry among other things. Also many of the things that I learnt during my time over there have also been instrumental aiding my journey for ongoing professional development, and some of the lessons and approaches to problems I learnt and picked up from Alek and Greg I use and apply them everyday, albeit a different industry.
In saying that, if you could also pass on my special thank to Alek and Greg as I really appreciated the time they took aside to work with me, as they didn't have to but because of their efforts it added to the experience. Also I'd like everyone else who showed me around and offered help when it was needed as that was really appreciated. Finally, once again I would like to give a very special thanks to you, as you and your team provided me with an invaluable experience which has greatly contributed to my journey to becoming a reputable professional engineer and I will be forever grateful."
