Health Innovation Building

Description of Works:

O'Connors was engaged for the provision of mechanical services for the University of South Australia Health Innovation Building; a 14-storey research and education structure, which sits on North Terrace. Including thermal plant, Air Handling Units, humidity control, ductwork, pipework, and electrical. Reticulated laboratory gases were also installed, along with fume cupboards, cool rooms, freezer rooms and clean rooms. Risers were prefabricated and hoisted into position. There is also a pressure-controlled Animal House on the top floor.
