Lot Fourteen, McEwin Building

Description of Works:

The lot fourteen (previously referred to as Former Royal Adelaide Hospital (FRAH)) McEwin Building project included demolition of all existing building services and a full building upgrade. New Central Thermal Infrastructure Plant (CTIP) located on roof level comprising of two air cooled cooling only chillers, and two reverse cycle heat recovery heat pump chillers associated pump sets, buffer vessels, and ancillaries. CHW/HHW pipework, plate heat exchangers complete with associated secondary pumps and ancillary systems such as chemical dosing pots and the like to serve the McEwin building. Fan Coil Units (FCUs), AHUs, CRACs, MSSBs, Building Management System (BMS), and air diffusion, mechanical electrical, commissioning as well as fine turning. The roof top plant provides heating and cooling for the McEwin, Allied Health, Women’s Health and Bice buildings.
