As we monitor the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to make sure we are doing our part to protect our employees, customers and the broader community. Accordingly, O’Connors implemented an Action Plan in the early stages of the pandemic for all O’Connors and subcontractor employee’s to adhere to. The plan has been implemented in line with the World Health Organisation, the Australian Government and the Australian Department of Health recommendations – promoting all recommended hygiene practices and the 1.5m social distancing rule. This is an evolving situation, and we will continue to closely monitor developments moving forward and adjust our action plan as needed.
These are not ordinary times and we must all work together to minimise the potential harm. We believe that it is crucial for everyone to do the right thing in our industry to ensure the livelihood of 1.2 million people.
The pandemic is affecting us all, no matter who we are or where we are from, and we all have a role to play in slowing its spread. We at O’Connors will do whatever we can to help, and we are confident that together as an industry and community we can rise to meet the challenge.
